Recommended for 3D printers with heated building boards. The polyimide tape, also known under the name Kapton tape, is ideal for masking heated building boards. This special tape composed of PCB manufacturing can withstand temperatures of up to about 260 °C .

Kapton tape allows the filament to better adhere to the building board.
