Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro Swichting Adapter

To ensure that your Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro Multi Material System works as it should - especially once the drying function is activated - the right power supply is crucial. The requirements vary depending on the model of the printer:

► For X1 / P1 / A1 Series:

• When the drying function is enabled, each AMS 2 Pro unit requires one official Bambu Lab Switching Adapter to get enough power.
• In case of multiple AMS 2 Pro units, each unit with drying function needs its own adapter.
• If the AMS 2 Pro unit is used without the drying function enabled, the adapter is not required.

► For H2D printers:

• If a single AMS 2 Pro unit is connected, the printer takes over the power supply and drying function directly, without an additional adapter.
• If several AMS 2 Pro units with drying function are used, each unit needs its own Switching Adapter. Even if only one unit is actively drying, a reduction in power can occur, and therefore, one adapter per device is recommended.
