Description
This new compact, lightweight extruder upgrade for Raise3D 3D Printer solves your feeding problems, improves surface quality, and enables higher speeds with consistent quality.
This product uses lightweight Nema17 pancake stepper motors in combination with a 3: 1 internal gear ratio and the proven dual-drive gearbox. The housing parts are manufactured in the SLS process from high-strength nylon. The drivegears are made of hardened steel and designed for maximum performance and durability.
This upgrade is suitable for both Version 1 and Version 2 printheads and the installation is complete in about 20 minutes.
The original extruder setup weighs 890 g whereas the BondTech upgrade weighs only 425 g. The difference in weight has a big impact on performance.
The extruder is equipped with two connectors for 4 mm guide tubes. The existing tubes can be used and are not included in the kit. Plug & Play solution - do not cut or solder cables
There are two versions to choose from: silver motors (older) and black engines (new)

- 1x cover breakout board
The E-Step needs to be set to 415. This requires using the latest version for the touch panel. (0.9.2)

More information
Important to note!
The ribbon cable should not come loose from the breakout board while the device is in use, otherwise problems may arise. Make sure the cable is securely in place.
