Description

In collaboration with Polyscope Polymers, Innofil3D developed an ABS filament specifically for 3D printing.

This special grade was developed in collaboration with Polyscope Polymers, an expert in improving polymer behaviour with styrene-maleic anhydride (SMA).

Polyscope is known for its material solutions in the automotive industry. The properties of ABS Fusion + are:

  • Chemical resistance
  • High heat resistance
  • Low warping
  • Compatible with INNOSOLVE PVA
  • Tough

ABS is a thermoplastic used in many applications.

Although ABS has been classified as the standard material in 3D printing, it has been very difficult to process it yet. We have succeeded in developing an ABS quality that can be printed directly on glass without any liquids or tape, and because of its extremely low warpage it has a higher print pass rate.

In order to provide users with valuable information, Innofil3D has collected data on the mechanical properties of 3D printed samples according to ISO standards.
