ARNITE®ID 3040 is a high-quality PET that is often used for high-precision parts in various areas.

The material is currently used for parts in regards to safety in the automotive industry. ARNITE®ID 3040 is a rigid polymer with a very high layer adhesion.

The premium product by Nexeo is highly stable with low shrinkage and high-temperature resistance.

Please note the printing guidelines in the appendix when using this material. It is only suitable for experienced users.

Please note:

This is a material with high crystallinity. This means, compared to other thermoplastics, polyamides absorb plenty of water. In order to prevent extrusion problems from occurring and achieving good 3D printing results, the material must be dried before application. A convention oven is sufficient for this purpose. It is recommended to use a temperature setting of 80°C over a time period of 6 hours. The filament must be stored dry and airtight.
