Description

presto 2-Coat Clear Lacquer is a transparent, fast-drying acrylic clear lacquer in a spray can. It seals base coats and metallic paints, protects against dirt and weathering, and creates a durable high-gloss finish.

The special acrylic formula creates a hard-wearing yet flexible finish. Once dry, it forms a tough, well-adhering protective layer that resists scratches, knocks and everyday wear.

Once fully cured, the clear lacquer is weather-resistant, lightfast and UV-resistant, so it will not yellow or lose its gloss. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Fast drying in clearly defined stages

At 20°C and 50% relative humidity, the clear lacquer is dust-dry after around 10 minutes, touch-dry after around 60 minutes and fully cured and ready for polishing after approximately 24 hours. It should be applied in several thin cross coats from a distance of around 25 cm. Allow the previous coat to dry for at least 30 minutes before applying the next one.

► Note for use on vehicles: The clear lacquer offers limited resistance to petrol, making it a suitable option for automotive and motorcycle applications.
