Description
The Prusa Nextruder Silicone Sock is a set of three silicone socks for the Nextruder extruder. It helps maintain a more stable temperature in the heater block while also protecting the nozzle and heater block from filament residue and dirt.
The silicone sock insulates the heater block from ambient air. This reduces temperature fluctuations and means the heater needs to adjust less frequently. Especially with high-temperature filaments, this helps achieve more consistent print results.
Precisely designed for the Nextruder: As the Nextruder has its cables positioned at the top of the heater block, the sock does not require a side cable cut-out and therefore fits more securely than conventional silicone socks with a cable opening. This makes it much less likely to slip off during printing.

- 3 x Nextruder silicone socks
| Note: Before installation, the nozzle and heater block must be completely cool and free from filament residue. Never install the sock while the printer is running or hot, as there is a risk of burns. |
