Description
The Prusa Prusament PA11 Carbon Fiber is a high-performance filament designed for extremely demanding technical applications. The combination of PA11 (nylon) and carbon fibre reinforcement provides exceptional resistance to heat, chemicals and mechanical stress.
Within the Prusament range, PA11-CF offers the highest temperature and chemical resistance. Depending on load conditions, printed parts can withstand temperatures of up to 190 °C and exhibit strong resistance to a wide range of solvents and chemicals. The base material, PA11, is derived from castor oil and is therefore produced from a renewable resource. The carbon fibres used are sourced from recycled materials.
Thanks to its outstanding mechanical properties, PA11 CF is ideally suited to heavily loaded functional components, for example in automotive, aerospace and industrial applications, as well as in demanding hobby projects. Typical use cases include parts exposed to high temperatures and chemicals, such as engine-bay components or structural functional elements.
