Prusa Prusament PEI 1010 Natural (NFC), 1.75 mm / 500 g

The Prusa Prusament PEI 1010 (polyetherimide), known under the brand name Ultem, is one of the highest-performing high-performance polymers used in FDM 3D printing. The material has been developed for particularly demanding industrial applications requiring extreme thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance.

PEI 1010 offers outstanding temperature resistance, excellent chemical stability and exceptional mechanical strength. It is inherently flame-retardant and also highly resistant to gamma radiation. This unique combination makes it ideal for applications in medical technology, aerospace and industrial machinery.

Thanks to its high structural stability, PEI 1010 can be used directly as a functional end-use component and, in certain applications, can even replace aluminium alloys. Its material properties enable durable, high-strength parts with reduced weight compared to metallic alternatives.

► Note: Due to the very high processing temperatures required, PEI 1010 can only be printed on suitable high-temperature 3D printers.

Tip: The material is highly sensitive to moisture and must be thoroughly dried before each print. During printing, it should be stored in a dry box to ensure optimal print quality and material performance.
