The High Flow ObXidian™ HotEnd is the result of a collaboration between E3D and Bambu Lab, designed to deliver a more compact, lighter, and more powerful hotend option for the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 mini 3D printers.

High Flow Technology for Maximum Throughput

Thanks to an internal nozzle modification, the volumetric flow rate is 70% higher, ensuring smoother extrusion even at high print speeds.

Tip: To unlock the full potential of your motion system, the volumetric flow limit can be raised in the slicer.

E3DLC™ coating

Both the nozzle and heater block feature E3D’s proprietary E3DLC™ coating, which provides excellent non-stick properties and outstanding abrasion resistance when printing with fibre-reinforced materials. This innovative coating effectively minimises the build-up of filament residue around the nozzle, thereby significantly extending its lifespan.

Longer-lasting nozzles
ObXidian™ technology extends the lifespan of nozzles significantly. The material is several times harder than regular hardened steel, and resistant to wear from abrasive filaments over countless printing hours.
