Elegoo Mars Pro
The predecessor Elegoo Mars achieved a very high popularity as a qualitative and inexpensive entry-level LCD printer. In addition to the numerous compliments, there were of course suggestions for improvement, which have been collected over the years and have now been implemented in the new Elegoo Mars Pro. The predecessor was already a very good printer and now Elegoo has set the standard even higher.
New matrix light source
The new matrix light source has been revised and consists of a 28 50W UV LED array, which have a more uniform exposure. This not only improves the accuracy, but also a faster exposure time of up to 25%. The Mars Pro only needs 45 seconds on average for the first layer and 6 seconds for the other layer.
New linear guide rail
The Z axis now has the new linear guide rail. The z axis is now considerably more stable, which leads to a more even movement and significantly improved movement accuracy. This leads to better printing results and smoother surfaces.
When working with an LCD 3D printer, the smell of resin could become very annoying over time. To combat this problem, the Mars Pro has a built-in activated carbon filter, which significantly reduces the smell. The air is first cleaned through the filter to ensure a safer and fresher user experience.
In addition to the activated carbon filter, the Mars Pro has a rubber seal so that the air can only escape through the filter in the best possible way.
The new printing platform has new non-slip hexagon socket screws. This leads to a more stable leveling.
In addition, the printing platform has a special surface texture to significantly improve the adhesion. This leads to a much higher success rate because the printed parts adhere much better to the platform.
Easier to use
The user interface has been redesigned in a simple and dark design to make it even more user-friendly. In addition, the USB port has now been moved forward, which is much more practical than on Mars. With the Mars Pro, you no longer have to move the printer to get to the USB port.
