Description

The advantage of this material is its excellent weather resistance and the retention of the physical properties.
ASA has a higher stiffness than ABS and is, therefore, a material for demanding applications.

Did not really see the advantage over ABS to justify the cost hike. Touch feeling and aspect are really nice.

Fantastic functional prints

My first attempt at printing ASA (or any ABS-like filament). Prints beautifully at 245°C on a 90°C bed. Supports remove easily with 33% density. Overall very plug and play material.
Even though it is advertised as a 'low-warp' product, glassbed with gluestick/ ABS juice is essential to stop warping. I do not print in an enclosure, but my printer area is free from drafts/ unexpected cooling.
Prints are strong, and clean. Matte finish on this is very welcome, will definitely be buying again for my functional parts.
