The new carbon filament by colorFabb is referred to as XT-CF20. The XT-CF20 is based on the legendary XT filament and was treated with 20% carbon fiber to make it attractive for 3D printing.

This free car model OpenRC by Thingiverse was completely printed with the XT CF20 to test its strength.

The carbon filament has a black, matte surface, and is printable on virtually any 3D printer.

Note:

The ColorFabb XT CF20 has abrasive properties due to its carbon fibers. This accelerates the deterioration of the nozzle. A nozzle composed of steel or hardened copper is recommended.
