The Leviathan V1.3 Control Board by LDO Motors is a sophisticated 3D printer controller board specifically developed for Voron CoreXY printers. Designed by JNP – a long-standing member of the Voron community – this board combines maximum performance with space-saving integration and premium hardware quality.
Focusing on DIY enthusiasts and high-performance setups, the Leviathan stands out due to the following features:
- Integrated TMC5160 stepper drivers for exceptionally precise and quiet control – ideal for the demanding motion sequences of CoreXY printers.
- 48 V support for A/B motors to enable powerful and fast movements without sacrificing accuracy.
- Integrated Raspberry Pi mount directly on the board – saves space within the printer enclosure and simplifies the entire setup.
- A compact all-in-one solution with reduced wiring requirements and optimised power delivery – perfect for modern, clean builds.
New in version 1.3:
► More powerful microcontroller: The previous STM32F446 has been replaced by the STM32H743ZIT6. This provides increased processing power and potential support for RepRap Firmware, while maintaining an identical pinout (100% compatible).
► Enhanced protection for fan connections: Additional Schottky diodes on the fan ports protect against Back-EMF and increase reliability during operation.
