Are you looking for an exciting 3D printing project and want to put your manual skills to the test? Then the Voron V0.1 3D printer kit is just right for you!

The kit contains many high-quality parts, the rest is up to you. Print the missing parts and create your own FDM printer. When buying the kit, you can also choose the colour of the aluminium extrusion profiles to adapt your 3D printer to your preferences.

This kit is ideal for advanced hobbyists who already have a 3D printer at home and want to take a closer look at the various components. Voron recommends using ABS filament to print the parts you need.

Stable performance

All Voron printers are built with CoreXY or CoreXZ configurations to reduce the amount of moving mass and enable higher acceleration and speed.

Download Fusion 360 and get a free license to view the 3D model of the printer. The 3D model is a very useful reference when the manual is ambiguous or unclear.

Features of the Voron V0.1

Phaetus Dragonfly BMO

The all-metal hotend is mainly made of copper alloy and ensures better thermal conductivity. Depending on the heating cartridge, the hotend can be heated up to 500°C. Therefore, with the Dragonfly Hotend it is possible to process a wide variety of high-temperature materials and abrasive materials.

Coloured aluminium extrusion profiles

You can choose the colour of the aluminium extrusion profiles when you buy them. There are many different colours available.

Original Bondtech Drive Gear Kit

The Bondtech Drive Gear Kit made of hardened and surface-protected steel was precisely CNC-milled and ensures maximum filament grip and even extrusion. It is extremely wear-resistant and is therefore ideal for processing abrasive filaments.

Meanwell power supply

A Meanwell LRS-150-24 power supply ensures a powerful and safe power supply. The quality power supply is extremely durable and reliable.

2 flexible print surfaces (smooth & powder-coated PEI)

2 flexible magnetic surfaces ensure the best adhesion of different materials.

BIGTREETECH SKR Mini Mainboard

The SKR Mini Mainboard with TMC2209 driver has numerous interfaces and ensures good performance.

Stainless steel linear rails & mounting bar

The stainless steel linear rails impress with their longevity and are attached to the profiles with 5 custom linear rail mounting bars of size 7H. So you don't have to fiddle around with tiny m2 nuts on a thin plastic part. More information about the linear rail assembly bars here.

Raspberry Pi

All Voron printers use Klipper firmware. Klipper uses a Raspberry Pi for all computationally intensive tasks and sends a list of preprocessed jobs to the controller board. This offers considerable flexibility as a variety of control boards (or combinations of boards) can be easily configured.

Even more complex functions such as input shaping (to reduce ringing) can be added regardless of the control board used. Finally, configuring the firmware is quick and easy. Change the desired parameter in an easy-to-read printer configuration file, save and restart Klipper - a few seconds later the printer is ready to use!

Heatset insert tool made of brass

The kit includes a specially machined brass tip for your soldering iron, with which you can easily install heatset inserts. You can find out more about the heatset tool here.

Pre-cut and pre-wired cables

The kit contains all the necessary cables, cut to the correct length and pre-crimped or soldered to the appropriate parts. You can find the additional wiring instructions here.

Two types of nuts

The set includes both black oxide hex nuts and stainless square nuts, use the type you prefer.

Partially threaded screws

The small pack of SHCS screws with partial thread (M3 x 30 / x 35) is for the mini afterburner. They help reduce wear on the Guider and Latch parts.

Several Allen keys

Since 1.5 mm Allen keys wear out easily, you will find several of them in the kit. However, you should definitely buy a set of good quality hex keys.

2 mm bits

Metric bits may not be very common in some parts of the world so one was included with the kit. Use it to ream the filament path in your printed extruder parts.
