Magigoo Glide for PA, 250 ml

Magigoo Glide PA is a specialised 3D print bed adhesive from the Pro series, developed for the reliable processing of polyamide (nylon) filaments. This includes classic types such as PA6, PA12, and PA66, as well as fibre-reinforced variants like PA-CF or PA-GF. These materials, in particular, are considered especially challenging in FDM 3D printing due to their high shrinkage and low surface adhesion.

The specially formulated Magigoo Glide PA creates a strong, material-specific bond at high print bed temperatures, effectively minimising warping even in large, technical components. This significantly increases process stability, especially in professional environments such as print farms or large-format printing.

A key technical advantage is its temperature-dependent adhesion: Glide PA ensures maximum adhesion during printing, while adhesion decreases as the print bed cools, typically below 40°C. This allows the component to be removed almost without tools, without scratching or damaging the build plate. Cleaning the adhesive is simple: just use water or a damp cloth, no aggressive solvents required.

Application recommendation:

Shake the bottle vigorously for 3–5 seconds before use to mix thoroughly. Then, twist the transparent cap, open the dispensing tip, and apply a few drops or a thin line of adhesive to the clean, cold build plate. Quickly and evenly spread the adhesive into a thin, continuous layer. Heat the print bed according to the specifications of the polyamide filament being used and start printing.

After printing is complete, allow the print bed to cool completely. As the temperature drops, the adhesion weakens, so the part usually detaches from the build plate automatically or with a slight lift. For consistent results, it is recommended to clean the surface with a damp cloth after each print session and then reapply the adhesive.
