Description
The PROXXON Micro Cutter MIC is a compact precision tool designed for accurately cutting thin materials. It is ideal for wood, plastic, GRP, paper, cardboard, films and similar materials, delivering clean cuts with a minimal kerf width of just 0.5 mm.
Thanks to its design, the Micro Cutter also allows controlled plunge cutting directly into the workpiece surface – ideal for internal cut-outs or contour-accurate cuts without the need to drill a pilot hole beforehand. This makes it particularly versatile for model making, craft projects and precision engineering tasks.
The housing is made from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide, ensuring high stability with low weight, while the hardened steel gearbox provides reliable power transmission and long service life.
For enhanced safety, the Micro Cutter features an automatically retracting blade guard that adjusts itself during cutting, maintaining a clear view of the cutting line.
