The X2 version is not compatible with the X1 so you'll need the X1 version

for the sw x2 version is the ptfe tube still needed or can that be removed and also how do you update firmware to the artillery sw x2

The PTFE is used as a coupler between the extruder and hotend. The firmware can be downloaded here: https://github.com/artillery3d/sidewinder-x2-firmware After it is edited you can export the .bin file, put it on a USB drive, plug it into the printer and turn on the printer, the update will happen automatically

1. Yes, there is a temperature limit on Artillery printers and this simply needs to be increased in the firmware. 2. Artillery don't offer a firmware version with BLTouch capability but there are community firmware versions that do. 3. Sure! The nozzle is the same volcano nozzle as the old hotend only this one is made of steel for abrasive materials but any volcano nozzle will work.

What size nozzle does this come with?

It comes with a 0.4mm hardened steel Volcano nozzle

Where can the firmware for updating sidewinder X1 after install be found? Can a direct link be shared as it is not obvious on Artillery website.

Hi, is this the part offered by Artillery, with the bi-metal heartbreak?

The all metal heat break is actually a normal steel heat break not bimetallic.

Does this fit sidewinder x2? I got a x2 2 weeks ago, and there is a crack in the hotend...

No unfortunately not. Artillery have a variant for the X2 on their shop though and we may get this in the future. If you ordered your X2 from us please contact our customer service as the printer is under warranty and we can help you get it working.

  Sure, there is a variant specifically for the X1. The firmware needs to be edited, only the temperature needs to be increased. Firmware files can be found here: https://github.com/artillery3d/sidewinder-x1-firmware
  
  The X2 firmware is not compatible with the X1 though.
