Description

One of the most famous ships in maritime history is the HMS Bounty, made famous by the bold mutiny on this sailing ship. In 1787, Captain William Bligh was commissioned by King George III to bring breadfruit trees from Tahiti to the West Indies with the Bounty. Captain Bligh rules with an iron fist and repeatedly cuts the rations of the team. On April 28, 1789 there was a famous mutiny, Bligh and 18 faithful were abandoned in a boat and returned to England after a long odyssey. The rest of the team decides to stay in the region and settles on the island of Pitcairn, far from the shipping routes. In order not to be discovered, the bounty was burned by the former garrison in 1790.
