My original extruder could no longer handle certain softer types of PLA after 1600 hours of runtime, and had underextrusion because of it which could only be solved by printing a lot slower. Now it's like it's new again and even better for softer PLA's as I can print them at 50mm/s without issue, normal PLA I can now print at 70mm/s without problems. Very easy to install with the online manual from bondtechs website, it only sticks out from the side of the printer but only about 4 cm's.
I'm so glad that this was the solution after trying other upgrades like the Olsson block and different nozzles which improved the underextrusion but did not solve it completely.
Should have bought this much sooner as it will certainly save you hours of printing because it can do it so much faster :-)Was this rating helpful? (3) (0)
