Spectrum PLA Nature Flax, 1,75 mm / 1000 g

Spectrum PLA Nature is a special PLA filament series developed to bring natural textures and distinctive surface structures to 3D printing. By using selected bio-based fillers, PLA Nature clearly sets itself apart from conventional PLA, opening up new creative possibilities while remaining easy to process.

The filaments in the PLA Nature series can be printed using standard PLA settings and are characterised by low shrinkage and high printing stability. The visible proportion of natural fillers gives printed objects a unique look and tactile feel that cannot be achieved with conventional PLA.

Tip: Printed components can optionally undergo a post-curing or heat-treatment process to further increase the material’s temperature resistance.

Depending on the variant, different biological raw materials are used in the filament:

• distillation residues (PLA Nature Pils Beer, PLA Nature Dark Beer),
• algae (PLA Nature Algae, PLA Nature Algae Nori),
• industrial hemp with wood content and fibres (PLA Nature Hemp),
• flax fibres (PLA Nature Flax).

The carefully calibrated particle size of the bio-fillers has been deliberately reduced to ensure their presence remains visible in the filament while maintaining high printing reliability. As a result, PLA Nature can be used on a wide range of 3D printers – without the need for special hardware or modified print settings.
