Despite modern 3D scanners, challenges arise in many application cases and a matting spray is required to achieve good contrast values and accurate measurement results. The problem arises mainly with transparent and reflective parts and with recesses. With the scanning spray, disruptive factors such as differences in the reflection properties, the texture and/or colour of the object to be scanned are eliminated.
