The 3D printer Hephestos is a RepRap community evolution.
It comes with several improvements. A complete kit with all the necessary parts and appropriate instructions.

Convenient, easy and safe
The most important new feature is the easy and simple assembly of the device. Individual steps and the entire instruction manual have been simplified.
One of the most important Hephestos innovations is the cable drag chains with which the cables are brought together at the top and at the rear. This guides the movements of the printer for a smoother performance.
bq has selected the PLA filament as a printing material as it can be easily used at home.
PLA is one of the best printing materials on the market for 3D printers. The material is very easy to use and quickly achieves excellent results.
Open source and one's own components
The Hephestos consists of 100% freely accessible components. You can develop the parts according to your taste. bq is openly shares their system knowledge with the community.
The entire structure of the 3D printers right through to the actual printing of models has been thoroughly thought through by bq. The Hephestos works perfectly with the in-house PLA filament by bq.
