Description
These CNC-milled Threaded Inserts made of high-quality brass are practical accessories that turn your 3D-printed parts (made of PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.) into practical and versatile functional components.
The cadmium- and lead-free threaded inserts are installed or soldered into place using a soldering iron. They increase the strength of the resulting connection by bonding the threaded insert with the material and preventing it from moving.
Tip: For maximum strength, install the brass inserts at a temperature 10 to 20°C higher than the printing temperature. CNC Kitchen also recommends only soldering the threaded inserts 90% of the way in - the rest can be fitted into the component using tools.
