E3D Revo Prusa MK3

With Revo MK3 Prusa Edition by E3D you can spice up your old E3D V6 setup with the latest generation of E3D hotends as well as take advantage of all the benefits of E3D's RapidChange Revo system:

No adjustment of the device is required

MK3 shines in a new design with a black anodised heatsink, which distinguishes it from its predecessor. However, the hotend is by no means a completely new design. The Revo Prusa Edition has the same height, filament diameter and groove mount as the E3D V6, so it can be used immediately in the V6 units without having to modify printhead mounts or accessories. Also, any print profiles created in Prusa Slicer can still be used! Incredibly practical and user-friendly!

Rapid nozzle change without tools

Revo MK3 is specifically designed for Revo nozzles. Therefore, you can easily change the nozzles by hand at room temperature - you can leave complicated tools in the toolbox to rest; even hot tightening is not necessary here. The Revo nozzles are factory sealed, which makes them much easier to use and much more reliable compared to other conventional nozzles

Fast heating due to Revo HeaterCore

Revo MK3 features a Revo HeaterCore, which features the latest heating and sensing technology. The HeaterCore gets warm much faster than an aluminium heating block, while also ensuring much more safety. The HeaterCore has a positive temperature coefficient, which means that it does not melt at very high temperatures.

Important notes:

• When replacing the nozzles, Z-offset may need to be adjusted.
• As Prusa i3 MK2 variants are 12V systems, they cannot be used with this hotend. The 12V Revo Six is compatible here.
• Revo Prusa Edition has not been tested with MMU or MMU2.
