Description
EasyFil™ HIPS is an impact-resistant polystyrene with a beautiful matt finish. Compared to “normal” HIPS, the material is slightly more flexible and softer and has excellent thermal stability. The material is very light and can be bonded with a variety of adhesives.
Polystyrene is resistant to acids and bases. Due to these properties, the material is one of the most frequently used thermoplastics in the world and is used e.g. in the food packaging industry.
3D objects printed with EasyFil™ HIPS have excellent properties. They can be sanded, primed and painted. To obtain a truly smooth and shiny surface, the printed parts can be treated with acetone vapour.
