Description
FormFutura EasyFil ™ HIPS is a true competitor for mainstream 3D printing materials such as PLA or ABS.
The EasyFil ™ HIPS has an impressive and professional finish. PolyStyrene objects can be printed just as easily as PLA or ABS when using EasyFil ™.
EasyFil™ HIPS is an impact-proof polystyrene. EasyFil™ HIPS differs from "normal" HIPS in that it is more flexible and softer.
The material also has excellent thermal stability.
With EasyFil™ HIPS your are able to print objects with fine details and a beautiful matte finish.
The material is very light and can be bound with a variety of adhesives.
Polystyrene is resistant to acids and bases. Because of these properties, polystyrene is one of the thermoplastics most commonly used.
PS can be used in the food packaging industry.
3D objects printed using EasyFil™ HIPS have excellent properties. These objects can be sanded, primed and painted.
To create a truly smooth and glossy surface, you can treat the parts with acetone vapor.
EasyFil™ HIPS is available in a wide range of colours. The recommended printing temperature is 235 °C.
We recommend setting the heated board to 90 - 110 °C.
