Description
StoneFil ™ is a PLA-based filament that consists of 50% stone powder.
This high "stone content" gives the filament its exceptional optical properties.
The material is about 37% heavier than normal PLA.
The printed objects have an extremely matte finish.
Every StoneFil ™ printed object has a unique colour profile.
The StoneFil ™ is abrassive due to its high content in stone powder and leads to increased wear on the hot-end.

Not ideal
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
It is very breakable before and after print. Also too bad marks on the printer bed after print.

Stonefil granite - surface quality
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
My first print was successful with a beautiful matt and stone finish. All prints after this have been very uneven in the print surface, almost with an open texture. I have tried at different temperatures but still not good. When removing the filament I noticed the feeding cog has left an imprint on the filament that was in the Bowden tube... any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Easy to print but not what the picture shows
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
Very easy filament with a nice stone like surface. The color does not vary as in the picture, though. It is very unoform and resembles concrete more that granite. I use it for building foundations where it looks just great. It does not seem to create a smooth top layer easily, so I recommend adding more layers for the top surfaces. If you are looking for a nature granite look this is probably not for you, but for special applications it works just great.
