Protopasta Black Carbon Fibre HTPLA, 1,75 mm / 500 g

Protopasta's Carbon Fiber HTPLA is a combination of milled carbon fibre and a high-performance, heat-treated PLA. The material is characterised by increased rigidity, reduced flexibility, excellent structural strength and layer adhesion with very little distortion.

Models printed with this have a beautiful matt black finish with a slight shine - ideal for prototypes and parts with high dimensional stability (e.g. frames, supports, shells, propellers, tools, etc.).

Tip: If the parts printed with Carbon Fibre HTPLA are heat treated, they show a temperature resistance of up to 155 °C.

Danger! When processing abrasive materials, individual components can wear out more quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to regularly maintain the hardware and replace the nozzles. For prolonged use, wear-resistant nozzles are recommended.
