Nice cable kit, but very cheap hardware and linear rails
Rated with 3 out of 5 stars.
It is hard for me to decide if i'm happy or not with the LDO kit.
I had so many problems, i can't really remember all of them. But mainly the hardware. Especially for the price.
The LED bars are also removing 2-3cm of print Z height size.
The kit description should be modified , the print volume is X350xY350xY300
At last for 1600€, the fans provided are good for airflow but very noisy. I'd highly suggest upgrading to a DELTA right away. Still finding a solution for the 5 other fans...
Other than this... Great kit, the printer config file is almost ready to use.Was this rating helpful? (10) (1)

It's a lottery
Rated with 1 out of 5 stars.
This could have been perfect but the kits are a lottery with some key components appearing to be reconditioned and very badly packaged. The pre-cut and terminated wiring is a significant highlight but these can be bought separately. There are some quality components such as Bondtech gears and the cable guides but pretty much everything else is sub par. The aluminium extrusions are under tolerance in many places making it impossible to insert T-Nuts without pre-loading them or risk damaging the extrusion. The sliders and rails came in poorly sealed bags with no protective shipping oil. They were bone dry and covered in tarnished spots that looked like fingerprints. The same with the motors that look like some of the casings had been replaced. The grub screws are such soft metal that the socket easily strips. The excessive amount of threadlock didn't help. My kit was also missing a set of screws with no spares (no offer to replace them so I bought my own) but for everything else there are a ridiculous number of spares, which have contributed to the high price. There are a lot of excess parts that were obviously intended to provide more options at some point but the lack of a single part meant that there is ultimately only one option, e.g. the Raspberry Pi power options. The upgrade kits have a lot of spare parts and it isn't clear which version of upgrade they were intended for, e.g. Klippy. The build plate has a large scuff where the protective film was damaged. There have been just so many things that have made the experience far worse than it should have been but the worst part is the lack of assurance regarding the most crucial parts of the kit, which ironically are the parts that were manufactured by LDO themselves. They really are poor but I expect that they will argue that the "kit" status excludes them from honouring any warranty in the event of any failure because there are absolutely no warranty certificates for anything in the kit.
