Qidi X Plus
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Received printer 2 weeks sooner than promised which was a nice surprise.
Printer has performed brilliantly from the fist print. I previously had an old Qidi printer and there is no comparison. Then print quality and ease of levelling is vastly improved. Highly recommend this printer. Was this rating helpful? (1) (0)

Qidi Tech X Plus
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
My first experience of 3D printing and this printer hits the spot. Very easy to set up straight out of the box. Quite a weight as it’s well constructed. The removable and flexible magnetic base plate is very handy and the prints so far have adhered well to it. The slicing software is also easy to understand.

Qidi Tech X-Plus
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I bought Qidi X-Plus a couple of months ago and I have to say that I am very satisfied with the quality of the prints and the easiness of working with this printer. I am using it primarily for prototyping.
It came with an additional high temperature extruder which is a big plus when it comes to printing with nylon and other filaments requiring high temperatures. The package also includes a toolbox which has all you need in terms of maintenance and changing the head.
The magnetic build board is fantastic. There is no need of applying glue on its “white/cold” side. The prints stick to it very well and easily detachable by just bending it.
The Cura based software is very straightforward. Most of the slicing options are hidden which is fine for beginners, and If you need advanced options, they can be easily un-hidden. When changing the filament type, it gives you default values as a baseline with predefined temperatures. I was surprised that QIDI recommend the temperatures to be set according to provided by them table. The temperatures there are lower than these specified by the filament manufacturers. But probably because of the closed casing they work perfectly. Printing ABS with 220C works fine, despite the recommended by the manufacturer temperature being 250C
So far, I didn’t need to contact the customer service for problems as there were none. To my question about regular maintenance, they responded in just an hour saying that the platform raising/lowering lead screws just need to be lubricated once 3 months with ordinary automobile lubricating oil.
