Description

Spectrum AquaPrint is a water-soluble support material designed for professional multi-extrusion 3D printing. It was specifically developed for complex geometries and demanding support structures where clean surfaces and effortless post-processing are critical. Compared to traditional PVA support filaments, AquaPrint offers a melt volume rate up to four times higher, enabling stable material flow and reduced printing times. Simultaneously, the dissolution time in water is shortened by up to 50%, significantly accelerating the post-processing workflow.

A central feature of AquaPrint is its exceptionally high adhesion to common engineering materials such as PLA, PETG, PA, and TPU. Its adhesive strength is up to twice as high as that of conventional PVA, ensuring reliable results particularly for complex overhangs and delicate support structures.

AquaPrint is highly soluble in cold water and is characterised by high thermal stability. It can be printed at relatively low temperatures, which guarantees safe processing and consistently strong adhesion throughout the printing process. After printing, the support material can be dissolved in water and—subject to local regulations—disposed of as biodegradable waste via the drainage system.

Tip: Thanks to its superior structural rigidity compared to other water-soluble support materials—especially PVA—AquaPrint is particularly well-suited for Bowden extruder systems.
