The polylactic acid (PLA) materials of W2 Polymer are made from 100% renewable resources. Man can easily call the PLA a bioplastic because it is produced from renewable raw materials under significantly reduced CO2 pollution and can also be composted industrially. The PLA HI has been modified for higher impact strength and can be tempered for higher temperature resistance.

PLA, which is a standard printing material, is characterised by its easy processing, low distortion and low odour. The PLA HI can be printed between 190 ° C and 260 ° C. A heated plate up to 65 ° C improves the first layer adhesion. To achieve balanced properties in terms of impact strength and tensile strength, we recommend printing temperatures around 230 ° C.
