The polylactic acid (PLA) materials of W2 Polymer are made from 100% renewable resources. One can easily call PLA a bioplastic, as it is produced from renewable resources under significantly reduced CO 2 load and can also be composted industrially.

PLA, which is a standard printing material, is characterised by its easy processing, low distortion and low odour. The PLA HS can be printed between 190 ° C and 260 ° C. A heated plate up to 65 ° C improves the first layer adhesion. Since the mechanical properties of the filament within the hotend are almost impossible to influence with the printing temperature, this can be optimally adapted to help with the geometry of the model and speed at which it prints.
