Description
The filament consists of a robust nylon that is reinforced with a high proportion of glass fibres. It is perfect for precise and stable prints of objects that have to withstand high temperatures, loads and shocks.
Nylforce Glass Fibre is a nylon filament with glass fibres. Make sure your material is completely dry before printing. If moisture is present, place in an oven at 85-95 ° C for 6 to 8 hours. Store in a dry place, preferably in a small closed container with a desiccant.
Hot end, nozzle and fan
Since the filament requires temperatures between 250 ° C and 265 ° C, please ensure that your hot end is set up for printing nylon filaments. For the abrasion effect of the glass fibres, stainless steel, hardened nozzles that are resistant to abrasive materials are strongly recommended. Fans can be deactivated.
First layer adhesion
The filament does not adhere well to PEI, BuildTak or similar surfaces. We recommend printing on a heated glass bed (60-70 ° C) with an adhesion promoter.
