Nylon PA6 CF15S is a thermally stabilised composite filled with 15% carbon fibre. With its outstanding properties, the material scores in desktop 3D printing technology, which creates matt carbon printing surfaces.
The high proportion of carbon fibres not only leads to greater rigidity and tensile strength of the material but also to better flow during extrusion and optimised adhesion of the material particles. In addition, the shrinkage typical of high-temperature materials is reduced, making the printing process easier. The material has a higher heat deflection temperature of 180°C HDT (0.45 MPa) than the unfilled versions of nylon material.
The material is ideal for printing functional models, production tools and other parts that require high chemical and thermal resistance (e.g. rotors, gears, guide rollers, toothed rails, etc.). The PA6 CF15S is used particularly well in the automotive, aerospace and model-building industries!
