Description
The WIKO Super Glue Primer is a specially developed adhesion promoter that increases the surface energy of plastics that are difficult to bond, thereby significantly improving the effectiveness of CA (cyanoacrylate) adhesives. This pre-treatment allows you to achieve a stable and durable bond, even with materials that are normally difficult or impossible to glue.
The primer is particularly suitable for plastics such as polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), PTFE, Viton, silicone, and various thermoplastics. Many of these plastics have very low surface energy, which is why direct bonding without preparatory treatment is usually not possible. The primer modifies the surface so that CA adhesives can adhere reliably.
Application: Clean the surface to be glued, ensuring it is free from dust, oil, grease, and other dirt. Apply a thin layer of the primer and wait approximately 30 seconds. Then apply the adhesive.
