The MetroY Ultra offers five specialised scan modes to optimally cover every application:

• 34 Crossed Laser Lines: Rapid capture of shiny, dark, or flat surfaces at up to 3 million points per second.

• 15 Parallel Laser Lines: Precise capture of the finest details, edges, and complex structures.

• Single Line: Ideal for deep boreholes, gaps, and hard-to-reach areas.

• Auto Turntable Mode: Automated scanning with a turntable for high-precision, reproducible results at the touch of a button.

• Structured Light Mode: Markerless scanning at up to 7 million points per second for exceptionally fast data acquisition.

► Please note! Scanning faces is not recommended in any of these modes, as direct laser radiation can pose a risk to the eyes. Other parts of the body can be scanned safely provided the recommended working distance is maintained. To assist you, the software provides a real-time distance display during scanning to ensure you remain within the safe range.

With a volumetric accuracy of 0.015 + 0.04 mm x L (m), the scanner captures even complex geometries with the highest fidelity. The high scan rate of up to 90 fps enables fast yet precise workflows.

CMM Edition for Verified Measurement Results (CMM Edition ONLY)

The integrated CMM validation in the CMM Edition ensures reliable measurement data directly on-site. Combined with the certified carbon fibre calibration plate, scans are automatically compared with reference data to verify accuracy.
Thanks to PTB-certified algorithms, the software delivers precise, standard-compliant measurement results for quality assurance and industrial inspection processes.

Scanning Without Preparation

Even demanding surfaces can be captured without issue: The Revopoint MetroY Ultra scans dark or reflective materials without the need for scanning spray, significantly simplifying and accelerating the workflow.

Wireless Operation & Live Feedback

Via Wi-Fi 6, you can transmit scans in real-time and follow them directly on your device. Live feedback allows you to immediately identify missing areas or blind spots, allowing you to optimise data acquisition during the scanning process.

Reliable Outdoors

Thanks to powerful laser technology, the scanner operates reliably even in strong sunlight up to 100,000 lux. The included battery enables up to 2.5 hours of wireless scanning (when using the Battery Grip).

Precise Calibration for Consistent Results

The integrated calibration system with a photolithographic calibration plate ensures stable and reproducible measurement results over the long term.

Realistic Textures & Scan-to-CAD Workflows

The integrated HD RGB camera captures detailed colour textures for realistic 3D models. Combined with Revo Measure and Revo Design, scan data can be processed directly—from mesh editing to parametric modelling and Scan-to-CAD applications.
