Description

The 3DJake Color Mix Resin Basic is a high-quality 3D printing resin from Austria. Mechanical properties of PLA and thermal properties of ABS (heat resistant up to 121 °C) make this material a solid all-round resin for all applications.

The material was developed in Austria and is also produced in Austria in compliance with the highest quality standards. The high-quality raw materials were precisely matched to each other to enable pixel-accurate prints with sharp edges and clear details. The use of methacrylates also made it possible to dispense with aggressive or particularly harmful ingredients. The smell of 3DJake Color Mix Resin is therefore low-odour or almost imperceptible.

The system

The 3DJake Color Mix Resin is available in transparent with the lowest possible yellow colour. By using Resin Colorant, a complete colour spectrum is opened up by simply mixing it in. Individual transparent or opaque colours are possible. There is something for every application.

Print settings

Suitable for all standard and also 4K LCD and DLP 3D printers.

Recommended print settings for layers of 0.025-0.1mm:

  • 7-12 seconds exposure per layer
  • 5-10 base layers (approx. 60 seconds per layer)

Post-processing

  1. Let excess resin drip off the model over the resin tank
  2. Wash off any remaining resin with isopropanol or resin cleaner.
  3. Carefully remove the model from the build plate and existing support structures
  4. Cure completely under UV LEDs for 2-30 minutes depending on the size and colour of the model.
More information

Why do some of our 3D printing resins have a slight yellow tinge?

For our resins, which are produced in Austria, we rely on a photoinitiator (the ingredient that triggers the reaction with UV light) called BPO.

In contrast to the most commonly used TPO, this is characterised by its much lower toxicity and is therefore also often used in medical resins.

For us, the decision is clear: your health comes before the optical properties of the material, but we do our best to make our resins look great.

Stay tuned for our latest developments.
