Description
The Hall Effect Endstop triggers the printer shaft to reach the home or end position by means of a magnetic sensor.
Therefore, a magnet (e.g. D = 4 mm, H = 1 mm) must be provided, which draws the sensor in.
The orientation is of importance => test first. The sensor provides an analog signal that is proportional to the magnetic flux density and compared with a pre-set valued (via a potentiometer). The advantage is that the adjustment of the operating position is significantly more sensitive using a potentiometer, than most mechanical constructions.
